Whole Sockeye Salmon
Wild, fresh, sustainably-harvested Pacific sockeye salmon. Known for its robust flavor, this salmon will be the star of the season. And, due to its high levels of Omega 3 fatty acids, sockeye holds up excellently in the freezer, so don't be afraid to stock up.
One sockeye salmon weighs between 3-5 lb and feeds 4-6 guests.
Our fishmongers will cut your fish according to your selection below. Choose from one of the following options:
Whole
Whole sockeye salmon, gutted and cleaned. Ready to grill whole for a crowd.
Fillets
Two full sides of sockeye salmon with the skin on. A whole 4 lb sockeye will yield about 2.8 lb of fillet.
Steaks
Salmon steaks are cut into cross sections and includes bones. One 4 lb sockeye produces about eight steaks, totaling roughly 3 lb.
Half Fillets, Half Steaks
Steaks are cut starting from the head of the fish until the mid-point and the remainder of the salmon is filleted.
